Orientation Trip♪
Hello everyone!
I’m Rhys Wedlock of the Foreign Languages Department.
How are you?
It was our college entrance ceremony on 5th April.
I have twelve new students on my course, and they’re all very nice and friendly!
Congratulations to them on entering college!
We had a two-day orientation trip to Yamanashi together with new students from the Airline and Travel departments.
We stopped at Minobuyama and the cherry blossom was so beautiful!
We had a delicious dinner and then a party with fun activities.
It was a lot of fun and the students could quickly make friends!
Good luck to all of our new students!
I’m really looking forward to teaching them for two years!!
Graduate☆
Hello everyone!
I’m Rhys Wedlock of the Foreign Languages Department.
How’s it going?
Today we had a special Narita Airport inspection event for high school students.
At the airport I always meet graduates of my course.
Today I met a graduate from three years ago.
She works as ground staff for Vietnam Airlines.
She’s working very hard and her English keeps getting better!
It was so nice to see her again!
Happy spring holidays everyone!!
Job Hunting!!
Hello everyone!
I’m Rhys Wedlock of the Foreign Languages Department.
How are you?
My first year students are very busy job hunting now.
They’re interested in a lot of different careers, for example airport, hotel, rail and travel.
Some of them are interested in working abroad, too.
I hope their dreams come true!
A great student!
Hello everyone!
I’m Rhys Wedlock of the Foreign Languages Department.
How’s it going?
I’d like to introduce Kana Igarashi, a second year student on my course.
She won the speech contest with a wonderful speech about her classmates and her.
It was very moving!
Her name is now on the trophy.
Congratulations to her!
Her next challenge is to make a presentation of her graduation thesis
It’s all in English but I’m sure she’ll do very well!
In April she’s going to work in a Japanese hotel in Germany.
I think it’s great and I’m proud of her.
She has a very bright future.
Good luck to her!
See you soon!
☆Speech Contest☆
Hello everyone.
I’m Rhys Wedlock of the Foreign Languages Department.
How’s it going?
Last Friday we had our speech contest.
All my first and second year students made speeches about a variety of interesting topics.
They all did a very good job, and I was proud of them.
It was very hard for the judges to choose a winner.
The winner was Kana Igarashi,
whose moving speech was about her classmates’ two years at ITHB.
My students are now on their winter holidays.
It’s lonely without them!
See you soon!
Speeches
Hello everyone!
I’m Rhys Wedlock of the Foreign Languages Department.
How’s it going?
Next week we’re going to have the English Speech Contest.
My students have been busy writing speeches, and our native English teachers have been helping them write correct English.
It’s difficult, but all the students are very positive.
They’re trying very hard and making very interesting speeches about different topics.
I’m really looking forward to hearing them speak!!
Back to School!

Happy New Year everyone!
Last Thursday my first year students came to college for DFED Ⅲ.
(DFED stands for Don’t Forget English Day).
They studied TOEIC and Chinese.
It was nice to see them again after the winter holidays.
Now they have a special study programme for four weeks.
They have classes for TOEIC, Eiken, Chinese, recruitment, speech contest preparation and English conversation practice.
They’re all taking TOEIC tomorrow and trying very hard.
I hope they all do well!!
See you soon!

On Monday my first year and second year students had a yakiniku party on the English Lounge veranda.
They talked a lot about their memories of Australia, and enjoyed eating a lot of delicious food!
It was a lot of fun!
My first year students came to college yesterday for a special recruitment make-up class.
They looked very professional!
Today they start their recruitment classes.
Good luck to them!

☆Australia

11月にはPhillip IslandへGO
